Casting aluminum alloy is an aluminum alloy that is cast with
molten metal to obtain various shapes of parts blanks.It has the
advantages of low density, high specific strength, good corrosion
resistance and casting processability, and little restriction by
the structural design of parts.Aluminum alloys are divided into
medium strength alloys based on Al-Si and Al-Si-Mg-Cu; high
strength alloys based on Al-Cu; corrosion-resistant alloys based on
Al-Mg; and heat-strengthened alloys based on Al-Re.Most of them
require heat treatment to strengthen the alloy, eliminate internal
stresses in the casting, and stabilize the organization and
dimensions of the parts.Used in the manufacture of beams, fuel
turbine blades, pump bodies, hangers, hubs, intake lips and engine
cases.Also used in the manufacture of automobile cylinder heads,
gearboxes and pistons, instrument and meter housings and
supercharger pumps and other parts.
